11KV GOAB switches
A Gang Operated Air Break (GOAB) Switch is used to isolate HT lines at various locations and also to isolate transformers from HT lines
This is widely used in primary transmission and sub-transmission lines of High Voltage systems. This is also being used at substations and transformer substations in order to isolate and connect the lines to HT supply
11 KV HG fuse
This is part of HT switchgear similar to AB Switch. HG fuse protects equipment from short circuits thereby increasing the equipment lifespan. It protects instruments such as transformers from a short circuit, i.e., the fuse blows when a short circuit occurs thereby protecting the equipment connected to the system
